Lantana

Lantana

Showy, domed clusters of flowers characterize the cultivated lantanas, or shrub verbenas as they are sometimes called. This flower attracts both hummingbirds and butterflies and has five lobes and are arranged in rounded or flattened heads. This plant grows in full sun and poor to average, well-drained soil is ideal. Use lantanas as bedding plants or in containers either set on terraces or sunk to the rim in soil.
